South Dakota Drug Court Advisory Council to hold meeting on January 27

The South Dakota Drug Court Advisory Council is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. CST. The meeting will take place in Conference Room B20 at the State Capitol in Pierre and will also be accessible virtually through Microsoft Teams.

The agenda for the meeting includes several items such as a discussion on community steering committees, a development package and memorandum of understanding, the addition of a lived experience position on the council, updates about upcoming outreach events, and recognition of outgoing council members.

According to the press release, “The South Dakota Drug Court Advisory Council addresses the operational, coordination, resource, information management and evaluation needs of the state’s treatment courts.”
